CNG Vietnam successfully organized 2021 Employee Conference

On 9 December 2021, CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company (CNG Vietnam) held the Employee Conference, reviewing the 2021 production and business performance and implementing the plan for 2022 (Conference).

Given complicated development of the Covid-19, in compliance with epidemic prevention regulations of the Ministry of Health and the Company, the Conference was held at PVGas Training Center (No. 266 Le Loi Street, Thang Nhi Ward, Vung Tau City) with the attendance of about 30 delegates and virtually connected to 03 locations including the Company Office, Phu My Branch and Northern Branch. The total number of participants was 122 people representing 271 employees of the whole Company.

The Conference was honored to be broadcast live to the leaders of PetroVietnam Gas Corporation: Mr. Trieu Quoc Tuan – Member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Pham Van Phong – Deputy General Director, Mr. Tran Xuan Thanh – Chairman of the Trade Union; together with representatives of the Corporation’s departments and units.

The Conference Presidium includes: Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hai – Chairwoman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Vu Van Thuc – Director of the Company and Mr. Nguyen Huu Chuong – Chairman of the Company’s Trade Union.

According to Mr. Vu Van Thuc – Director of the Company’s comments at the Conference, 2021 is a difficult year when CNG Vietnam implements its business plan in the context of complicated and prolonged developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, which is spread to most provinces and cities nationwide, especially serious in southern provinces. There are times when more than 40 customers/factories suspend the production. In that context, the Board of Directors has made efforts to implement many synchronous solutions on labour safety – epidemic prevention, management and market. With the close direction and timely support from PetroVietnam Gas Corporation, CNG Vietnam has successfully completed the dual goal for the year 2021 – Excellently fulfilled the targets of consumption volume, revenue and profit (consumption volume reached 111% of the plan, revenue recorded at 127% of the plan, profit reached 170% of the plan), continues to expand market share, develop the market coverage in parallel with safe production, effective epidemic prevention.

Following those successes and wishing to further promote production and business activities in the new situation, in 2022, the Company sets out many key tasks and solutions including: Formulate long-term plans up to 2025 and component strategies on the basis of the Company’s development strategy; Accelerate market development in order to maintain market share advantages; Accelerate the formulation of a digital transformation strategy; Build and implement the application of corporate culture; Proactively prepare for LNG business when there is an import source and Improve internal management.

At the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Huu Chuong, Chairman of CNG Vietnam’s Trade Union, gives a brief presentation on the implementation of Collective Labor Agreement, Labor Regulations, Democracy Regulations and regimes and policies for employees in 2021.

In 2021, the Company fully implements the State’s guidelines and policies related to employees and well implemented the Collective Labor Agreement, constantly improving the material and spiritual life of employees. The Company continues to strictly comply with the Democracy Regulations and guidelines for dialogue at the workplace, questions and concerns of employees are handled by the Company in a timely and satisfactory manner in accordance with the Regulations. Although the working conditions are difficult due to the Covid-19 epidemic, employees are still enthusiastic and well complete the assigned work to contribute to the Company’s common goals. In addition, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union also actively propagates and implements corporate culture in a practical way, through emulation movements to complete production and business plans, innovation initiatives, OSH movements, Understanding the Covid-19 epidemic competition…

On behalf of PetroVietnam Gas Corporation’s Manangement, speaking at the Conference, Mr. Pham Van Phong – Deputy General Director congratulates CNG Vietnam on the successes in 2021; shares the Corporation’s orientations in the coming time, commits to continue to support CNG Vietnam in the implementation of projects, so that CNG Vietnam becomes a professional unit in the field of distribution of CNG and LNG. In addition, the Corporation also recognizes and appreciates the efforts of the Management and employees of CNG Vietnam and believes that CNG Vietnam will continue to develop in 2022 as well as the following years.

Mr. Vu Van Thuc, on behalf of the Management, thanks the Corporation’s leaders for always accompanying and supporting CNG Vietnam and believes that CNG Vietnam would complete the tasks, targets in 2022.

Following the program, the Conference elects members to represent employees to participate in periodic dialogues in 2022 and launches an emulation movement on occasion of the 15th year anniversary of the Company’s establishment (28 May 2007 – 28 May 2022). With the highest spirit and determination, the Management and all employees of the Company will be united, brave, intellectual, creative, innovative in thought and professional in action, making good use of opportunities, ready to overcome all difficulties and challenges to accomplish the set goals.
