On 25 September 2020, at Xuyen Moc District, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company (CNG Vietnam) held the Safety – Health – Environment Conference 2020.
Attending the Conference, on the side of PetroVietnam Gas Corporation, there were Mr. Tran Van Nghi – Deputy Head of Safety – Health – Environment Department of the Corporation;
On the side of CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company, there were the presence of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hai – Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and Mr. Vu Van Thuc – Director of the Company.
Along with the attendance of delegates from member units of the Corporation, partners, customers, members of the Board of Directors, Board of Management, leaders of the Company’s departments, Phu My Branch, Northern Branch and the staff currently working in the fields of safety – health – environment of CNG Vietnam.
Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Mr. Vu Van Thuc – Director of the Company shared that, under the influence of the Covid epidemic from the beginning of 2020, a number of major economies in the world faced the worst recession in many decades, CNG Vietnam was also greatly affected when it had to operate in this difficult context. However, this is both a challenge but also an opportunity for CNG Vietnam to affirm its outstanding efforts, we have been implementing many effective Covid – 19 prevention mesasures, ensuring completion of all tasks of production and business activities in the new situation. Holding this year’s conference on safety – health – environment, CNG Vietnam wants to affirm remarkable results as well as limitations that need improvement in CNG Vietnam’s Safety – Health – Environment in 2019 and the first 6 month of 2020. At the same time, it also creates a forum for participants to share and discuss problems, propose solutions to continue to improve quality of the safety – health – environment management, as a premise for long-term sustainable development of CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company with partners and customers in the future.
The Conference listened to CNG Vietnam’s summary report on safety – health – environment management in 2019, the first 6 months of 2020 as well as measures to implement key tasks in 2020 in the form of lively short films and spent a lot of time for discussion of outstanding issues.
The discussion topic “Coordinating safety work between CNG Vietnam and partners and customers” attracted the attention and appreciation of the leaders and participants. As a subject of the supply chain of CNG products, CNG Vietnam will constantly support its suppliers and partners to build a strong competitive advantage, accompany and develop, in order bring maximum value to customers.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Van Nghi – Deputy Head of Safety – Health – Environment Department of PetroVietnam Gas Corporation highly appreciated the results achieved in ensuring Safety – Health – Environment of CNG Vietnam, which has contributed a huge part in the production and business efficiency of PetroVietnam Gas Corporation in 2019. Through the conference, Mr. Tran Van Nghi also noted with CNG Vietnam a number of contents to improve the efficiency of safety – health – environment management in the new situation.
Thanking and receiving the guidance of the Leaders of PetroVietnam Gas Corporation, Mr. Bui Van Dan – Deputy Director of CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company sent the message and affirmed the strong commitment of the Company’s Leadership for safety – health – environment management, strengthen the coordination and companionship between CNG Vietnam and customers and partners to effectively build and operate the CNG product supply chain, bringing practical benefits to stakeholders.
At the Conference, PetroVietnam Gas Corporation rewarded 03 collectives and 07 individuals of CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company with good achievements in safety – health – environment management in 2019.
On the occasion of the conference, CNG Vietnam also held a conclusion of the contest “CNG Vietnam Creative Ideas 2020” and honored and rewarded groups of authors and authors who had ideas that could be applied in practice, bring practical efficiency, contribute to the development of the company.
